ITIL Operations Management

The IT Infrastructure Library consists of a series of publications that describe a framework for delivering and managing IT services. ITIL (the IT Infrastructure Library) is essentially a series of documents that are used to aid the implementation of a framework for IT Service Management.

This meant that adoption of CCTA guidance such as ITIL was delayed, as various other departments fought to take over new responsibilities. Availability Management is the ability of an IT component to perform at an agreed level over a period of time. There will always be problems and costs associated with implementing ITSCM. It is important to have a focal point for reporting incidents and making service requests.

The Practitioner Level provides the skills necessary for the process owner, managers and staff members.
